(An e-mail I sent to Joenan about our begining in music.)
I just realized something! well not just now because I had to type it
but no long ago I realized
You have spoken of }the Joemeister{ being the one which lead you to
guitar playing. I realize his is partly responsible for me musicness as
well. Though I did buy a keyboard & make some songs in 2001*, my
computer music making started with Presto midi maker which I got from a
site about RPG maker 2k (I wasn't necessarily looking for it but I saw
it & it looked good) & that made me become interested in midi music
which I then made W1 in an attempt to make music for my game & minutes
later I had my first midi masterpiece 1. All this because of }the
Joemeister{ introducing me to RPG maker!
*note in order for me to take credit I will mention that I recorded
Climbing A Spiral Staircase in the Dark July 31, 2002 on my computer
then I actually researched it & found myself to be unable to take
credit again because W1 & 1 were written 7/25/02 (& saved to midi file)
which predates my first computer wav recording of Climbing A Spiral
Staircase in the Dark on 7/31/02.
though still I did make some songs with my keyboard in 2001, sadly &
strangely I must give some credit to }the Joemeister{ for indirectly
getting me into computerized music. |

Oh no May 15, 2004 six years since ???!
Well in yesterness of day (May 14) Eggabalt & Jonan visited my diabolically secret lair. I now have new photo of }the Joemeister{ the radio dj lookalike.
I need a legit update to finish update mania week & i run out of time now.
Almost a year since I graduated as well that is an odd thing.
New scans feature coming to IT.ST.
False sense of urgency is good for music only.
Though the urgency for me to update site is real. |

In late Feb. 2000 I went to a weekend called Disciple Now with the church and got to know the people from Lifeway (UH, }The Joemeister{, Joenan, ONJ). Disciple Now was the first place I remember hearing about quiet time (time alone with God in the Scriptures, prayer, and meditation.), I honestly don't remember any church that I went to in the past mentioning it in that way at all. They gave us little books for it which I used all the way through. This Disciple Now is of course most famous for it being where Joe began.
As excerpted from (The Joe)'s Autobiography
On Friday, February 26, 2000, the 2 year Anniversary of Pie Inc., MAR went to Disciple Now with the Church he attended at its parent Church. MAR was befuddled at all the new people he was meeting & decided rather than learning & remembering their names he would refer to everyone as 'Joe' including himself.
Well soon MAR as Joe became different from the more reserved MAR himself & took on what we now call a program. Joe was different than MAR in that certain aspects were highlighted in order to achieve optimum performance in certain situations.
Joe now, formerly but still MAR, had gotten to obsession point as Joe & started talking Joe talk where most words were replaced with Joe but the nonword oriented aspects of speaking remained intact (he really knew what he was saying). Joe invited his long time friend & Piemerican Nick Kline (The Dead Guy) to Disciple Now on that Saturday night & came. The D.G., as he is known, helped greatly to usher in 'Joe' coining the term "Joestinguisher" (fire extinguisher). Soon others got Joe names such as Joenan & }The Joemeister{.
Once the day was done & the group got to know eachother better MAR would henceforth be known as Joe.
